Centrebet Free Bet
After its re-launch in 2016 Centrebet has been gaining customers because of its outstanding odds and betting limits. The betting site does not provide free bet offers and sign up bonuses like other bookmakers. However, they offer punters the highest betting limits on Australian horse racing and other sporting events.
Centrebet began in 1992 in Alice Springs. It was the first licensed bookmaker in Australia. In 1996 it became the first bookmaker to offer online betting services in the Southern Hemisphere. In 2003 it was assimilated by the SportsOdds Group. Finally, in 2005 the SportsOdds combined its Centrebet, SuperOdds.co.uk, and SportOdds.com companies into one entity which was branded as Centrebet. Later in 2006, the organisation was featured on the Australian Stock Exchange.
The company was sold to Sportingbet making the merge one of the biggest among betting operators in Australia. William Hill purchased the Sportingbet Australian business, which included Centrebet and Sportingbet in March 2013. William Hill, the most significant online betting company in Britain in August 2013, also acquired Tom Waterhouse. The company improved the three sites, and they had to function with similar odds and markets.
In June 2016 the company announced that Centrebet would not accept new punters. William Hill later re-launched Centrebet in 2017 as a bookmaker that offers high-risks services including better odds and no limitations to winners.
Features and Services Offered
Centrebet free bet is not offered to new members. However, there is no transaction fees required. The only time the bookmaker will charge a 1% administration fee is when authorisation when depositing is needed from a financial establishment. The website offers odds in decimal format. The minimum deposit depends on the deposit option. For bank transfers, there is no minimum deposit. However for POLi, it is $1.00, credit cards are $5, $30 for PayPal and Moneybookers respectively.
The website has a mobile application where you can place bets, deposit and withdraw money and view your betting history. The Centrebet app is available for iPhone and iPad. Centrebet is very secure since you need to confirm your identity before withdrawing the funds. The process can be done online or via the post office.
There are no fees charged for dormant accounts. You can contact customer service through online chat, email or call them by phone. The customer care agents are available 24/7. However, the website is restricted in some countries including Norway, France, Belgium, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, USA, UAE, Italy, China and more.
In June 2012 the website homepage was given a major renovation. The new site is user-friendly and very responsive. The page has the typical three-column layout. The sports are listed on the left while the betting slip is placed on the right. The centre of the interface displays odds and sub-markets.
If you select a sport, the leagues are neatly displayed. A few clicks or swipes will take you to the betting slip. Once you place your bets, they are added to the sheet. Though there is no Centrebet free bet, the new website has excellent features to cater for the punters’ needs.
